Formerly named HackerYou, Juno College has been at the forefront of tech education in Toronto since 2012. The team behind this incredible learning community has helped thousands of students transition to careers in tech and continues to expand their offering.
Juno required assistance with a comprehensive rebranding process. New identity design material needed to reflect the broader ambitions of the organization while also maintaining a deep connection with the college’s extended network of alumni and hiring partners.
Juno’s website is an essential marketing platform and primary brand touchpoint for prospective students and job seekers. A range of distinct templates were designed to reflect the college’s unique position in the landscape.
Our studio always strives to blend message clarity with visual interest to generate memorable and effective communications. The Juno website is an excellent example of how branding and web design can exceed expectations and engage viewers in a thoughtful and positive way.
“Studio Function has had an outsized impact on my life as an entrepreneur. We partnered early in the development of the HackerYou brand, which helped set the stage for HackerYou’s early success. When it came time to change our name and evolve the brand, Vivian and Frank were able to guide us through what is always a challenging period of identity transformation.
They really “got” what I am doing with Juno, and thanks to their incredible design expertise, they translated it perfectly into designs tailored to my vision and our community. I hear regularly from students and alumni that Juno’s brand & design aesthetic is something that drew them to Juno, and I have Viv and Frank to thank for helping me and Juno express ourselves through design.”

Dynamic colour combinations were intentionally curated for Juno’s brand palette. This colour strategy reflects the college’s diverse community fabric and culture of inclusivity, which is a key point of differentiation compared to other bootcamp programs. Authentic photos of real people and bright spaces also help the visual language naturally communicate with genuine warmth and approachability.
